Italian/ Spanish

Well tonight i didn't really know what to eat,

I wasn't that hungry, but ,I wanted something different.

so i just did: Pasta with meat sauce for the kids , frijoles and Taquitos for us.

Everything was very good.

American breakfast aka IHOP...

This morning I got up and decided to make American breakfast,

so i made: pancakes, eggs and bacon...

here are the two man of the house , essen, essen.....

and this is the nice plate with all the goodies....

Tonight's dinner is with out carbohydrates,

It's becoming hard for me to think of things to cook,

so i decided to do something that a lot of people are doing lately ,

dinner with out carbohydrates.
So i made a brisket in the oven, with ,mushrooms ,onions,carrots wine and Olive oil

a carrot salad

and a Italian colored plate, with broccoli tomatoes and mozzarella

I will probably make pasta next time but not tomorrow , i am going out for dinner

but i will let you all see what i will be eating, and i will make my Tiramisu' for desert,

Italian Dinner

Ciao everyone, How are you doing?

I should have already posted this , but yesterday night....

i was almost done doing it , and my hubby for mistake deleted all of

my work..... :-( .

So I am doing it this morning...

Starting we have Italian tortellini (in a star shape..)

filled with spinach and ricotta,the sauce is cream, with Parmesan cheese,My daughter

loves it very much as you can see it in the picture.... :-

Yummy......

Then i made my Italian fennel's gratin, very good and full of taste,

but my two babies don't like them........ !!!!

One of my hubby's favorit,green been's with bacon.....

The salad is a must in our home, i varie it every time , so it doesn't get borring,

and this time i added ravannelli,

(don't know the English name for them...sorry..)

Wine is never missing in our house, tru italians always eat with a good bottle of wine

on the table,and this is from a winery near my house in Aviano.

Well , finnaly i did it, i hope that you all will enjoy and if you need anything just aske...

Costarican - Italian mix dinner

OK...Here i am, back on the stove......i hope that you like my dinner choices,it's hard to cook something different every day but i am lucky in a since my hubby is Spanish decent,so it make is a lot easier , now i can do Spanish dish's to...... :-)
This is Papas con choriso,it is very good ......believe me..!!!!

OK, now i made a Italian dish,more precisely it's from south Italy, (Puglia..)

and it's just pasta with peas. A simple dish that everyone likes.

This is my mixed salad, with red lettuce, green lettuce ,tomatoes, cucumbers and feta cheese
with a Brindisi rosso, red wine...

This is my Hubby that already eat everything from his plate,I can't keep up with him....Maybe that is the reason that his gets on my plate and helps me with my food....:-)

and these are my kids, they love Pasta with piselli, this is a good way to feed them peas...one of the few veggies that they eat....

Ok....Here I am, I am back from my vacation

and getting ready to cook for everyone .

This is my grilled veggies,eggplants and peppers..

it's my favorite...(with zucchini, but i didn't have any!!)

pork chops and sausage grilled with only some olive oil and salt,

very good...



And this is my Italian Summer salad,
(one of many that i know and will tell you about..)
it's very simple but yummy,
cucumbers , tomatoes and basil,
for dressing, well strictly Italian
Salt, pepper, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.


Well, what can i say, Buon Appetito to all........

Todays goodies

Hi everyone , well i am starting with some delicious brownies with powdered sugar and chocolate chip cookies. All of this is for Matteos schools summer fest .
